The hell we face is big, tough and scary, but like Paine said, it’s worth it!

Happy Friday!

Yes, the words of Thomas Payne seem very relevant to our current time.

We have so much to lose but, we have so much to gain and we cannot quit fighting now. The momentum of efforts to destroy what our forefathers have given us seems to be gaining. So, we must dig in, spread the word and, fight to keep our freedom and independence. God willing, we will win because we are Americans, free and independent. Thank you Tara.

Battle of Trenton was do or die for Washington and the American army. That victory helped the American cause more than any battle in the revolutionary war. The audacity and perseverance of the American leader has been discussed in books after books. Crossing the Delaware not once but multiple times is a credit to Washington and the officers of the American army. At this critical juncture in the life of this Republic we are in desperate need of selflessness leaders like Washington. Leaders with vision and integrity rather than corrupt dishonest and sold to special interests

With a thankful heart, knowing God is in control, we must stand forth against the tyranny that seeks to overwhelm us. We cannot shrink back, we must stand for truth, speak for truth, live for truth.

I can't help but think Charles Dickens copied this style on a few occasions ("It was the best of times, it was the worst of times...")

True words absolutely applicable today. We must apply Paine’s declaration to the trying times we are facing. It isn’t easy, but it’s been done before by brave and courageous Americans and it can be done again if we are determined to persevere. Hope you’ve been enjoying your family time, Tara. Thanks for posting these encouraging quotes from some of our fearless leaders.

A little take from yesterday’s post I made.

Sorry I deleted a reply so I can’t reveal the writer’s reply that was insulting and crude. This is the first time I have seen a response of this nature in all of these postings. All I can say is I believe everyone is entitled to their own opinion so if you disagree with me that’s OK, it just means I disagree with you too. Leave your vile response in your little mind if you can’t come up with an intelligent counter point to mine.
