Great article. Sadly, I think today Mr. Jefferson’s comment resonates with true patriots. The current government is not serving the citizenry very well at all.
I think his words were meant to encourage the US government to function in such a way as for rebellion to be unnecessary. I'll 👍, follow, and share all your posts!
His statement should be regarded towards organic rebellion by the citizenry and not to be confused with rebellion manufactured by nefarious groups who have the intention of undermining the country and the freedom and liberty guaranteed by the Constitution.
No. Thomas Jefferson would be canceled today. He might write a personal letter or email but it wouldn't be allowed on Social media and the print media wouldn't touch it. Thank you Tara.

I interpret this quote by Jefferson that He wanted the pot stirred occasionally to avoid complacency.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Sadly this is a time when Government was a servant of the people, and our oaths were to the Republic and not our government overlords.
His statement would certainly stir up controversy today.
Loved this
Thank you, Tara.
👍👍👍
I love his sentiment. Unfortunately, the cancel culture of today is trying to cancel him on a daily basis.
Jefferson was truly a Right Wing Radical!
Thank you Tara!!
Thank you Tara-this probably goes together with what Jefferson said about the tree of liberty 🗽. Have a great day Tara 😊
