We have allowed our government to stray far from the original intent and the results show in so many unhappy people. Can it be restored? I am not sure it can. I continue to hope and pray.
Recently, at a local store I heard a young worker comment to a customer that she’s recently got a letter from the Federal Government notifying her that her student loan had been forgiven. A coworker who was attending to me was impressed and said “Now forgive mine”. I wanted to tell the young worker she should stop and thank every tax payer in the store fore paying off her student loan. In my mind I was thinking what kind of citizen are we developing?
My son recently proudly shared with his friends and family that he finally paid off his student loan. We are so proud of him. All four of our lids were taught self responsibility and self reliance. We did our parenting job. Parents need to take the lead and set the example.
We need to work and bring God back..my dad told me over 50 years ago, that God is the glue. He was concerned that our country was moving away from Him… Now , I understand what he meant.
Interesting indeed. I wish I could could stick this quote in the face of every politician on every level of our government from city to national level.

We have, systematically, been moved so far away from what the Founders intended. I am not optimistic about the Republic surviving this idiocy.
