Like many others who understood the foundation of this country…the Constitution, Coolidge would likely be horrified by how far our beautiful and beloved nation has fallen from the original intent. Americans have been lulled into a sense of false security and many have been deceived. Perhaps you, Tara, and other sensible and understanding people who share so helpfully our history and the truth about current events, will help to change the direction we are heading. We are definitely on the brink of total collapse. I am so concerned for the future of my children and grandchildren. Even today it isn’t the America we grew up knowing and enjoying. I pray more and more Americans will wake up and resist this downward trend. It won’t happen without God’s help. Our founders and patriotic leaders have acknowledged it.

Silent Cal would not be silent today. He would probably say that living in this country without the Constitution being strictly followed is not the greatest political privilege. Our 3 branches of government apparently don't have any boundaries and the citizens don't seem to care that they don't have much freedom anymore. Thank you Tara.

I don’t think Silent Cal would be very happy with today’s American politics. I see one of the biggest problems with today’s Americans political views stem from our education system morphing from conservative values to ultra-liberal values aka Socialism/Communism. This all began in the late 60’s/early 70’s. Starting at college level studies working down into now nurseries with their woke ideals. Television programs and advertising have now also been taken over by the far left agenda.

Is it going to take another World War to bring the human race back into the sanity that was once led by American ideology or is the rapture our only Salvation? You be the Judge because I know where I will be.

Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence! Calvin was a deep thinker. I suppose we all should have been more Persistent in our Educational Duties. Thank you Tara. 😊

These little insights are invaluable. They add to understanding of our history and government. We cannot afford the high price that the rule by few of the many has illustrated to us in history

If I had been born (lived) in America 200 years ago, I. believe I would opt for being a poor dirt farmer, than a multi-Millionaire President in any other nation on this planet!

Calvin Coolidge knew what he was talking about!

Our Constitution, as originally written, made The United States of America the Greatest, most Prosperous and Generous Nation the world had ever known!

Thank you, Tara, very much for this historical quote!

This newest generation does not recognize this fact and, if history repeats itself as it so often does, the near future exists under a quickly building and dark overcast.

Silent Cal and all of those patriotic forefathers would certainly by now have dusted off their flintlocks and filled their powder horns!
