TDIH: Coolidge on the Constitution
The greatest political privilege that was ever accorded to the human race.
On this day in 1924, Calvin Coolidge hosts a dinner at the White House. βTo live under the American Constitution,β he reportedly said that evening, βis the greatest political privilege that was ever accorded to the human race.β
But do you think the next generation is getting this message? You have to wonder what Coolidge would think if he knew what was happening today.
Dear regular readers: Full-fledged history stories return tomorrow!
Like many others who understood the foundation of this countryβ¦the Constitution, Coolidge would likely be horrified by how far our beautiful and beloved nation has fallen from the original intent. Americans have been lulled into a sense of false security and many have been deceived. Perhaps you, Tara, and other sensible and understanding people who share so helpfully our history and the truth about current events, will help to change the direction we are heading. We are definitely on the brink of total collapse. I am so concerned for the future of my children and grandchildren. Even today it isnβt the America we grew up knowing and enjoying. I pray more and more Americans will wake up and resist this downward trend. It wonβt happen without Godβs help. Our founders and patriotic leaders have acknowledged it.
