As I read this piece of history it struck me that he found himself looking upon a conclave of patriots such as the world has never seen. What an honor it would be to be among those brilliant thinkers with so much passion for freedom and so much disdain for tyranny. Thank God for William Whipple who gave much to the founding of our new Nation. Mr. Whipple was very involved in fighting for our freedom and in creating our government while in relative obscurity. Thank you Tara.

The VA hospital in Prescott Az is named Fort Whipple...but I think that was named for a Lt Whipple?
