Donovan also earned the Distinguished Service Cross, the Distinguished Service Medal & the National Security Medal. He is the the the only person to receive all four of our nation’s highest honors.

"Wild Bill Donovan" was a brave man who received his MOH for his continued display of leadership, although he was seriously wounded.
His fortitude gave his raw troops the incentive to fight.
