Reading of these brave men and women reminds me of the culture of our country in those days. Even being just a little girl during World War II, I recall the strong patriotism I felt within, the pride in our country. It causes me to long so much to see “everyone “ around me with a spirit of patriotism, of pride in our country, an ethos of unity. I sure miss it.
Master Sargeant Ross is just one more I wish I could have known personally.
I think these MoH stories grouped together would make a wonderful book!

Mr. Ross was formidable and invincible as he performed heroically during that battle in WW2.
