Nurses throughout American military history have made a positive difference for the wounded and disabled troops! Kudos to them all!

A nurse is ALWAYS a nurse, no matter the circumstance. Education forms the mindset, teaching how to make beds, bathe patients and clean their messes, learning the body's processes until you see the world from a healthcare standpoint. Even in retirement, you never stop being a nurse. Luciano proved this in her everyday activities, organizing, caring, loving. She was a bastion of the nursing mentality.

Thank you Tara. Col. Rosemary Hogan Liciano had grit. Her resolve got her through her captivity as a POW. I certainly admire and salute you Col. May you rest in peace and may God bless you and all who have served or currently serve this great nation.

This story of Nurse Rosemary’s bravery, selflessness and generosity is so much needed in today’s world!

What a GREAT Lady who risked her all for those around her!

We must never forget the heroines and hero who fought for freedom here and abroad!

The militarily nurses in all wars are pretty awesome. This group possibly had more hardship than most and continued to perform. If you want to read more I recommend the book below. Thanks Tara.
