God bless Robert L. Howard for his extreme bravery in the face of serious wounds to himself. His sense of duty was just amazing. I for one call for a review of Mr. Howard's complete service, particularly during the Vietnam War where he may have been involved in additional actions justifying additional Medals of Honor.

I am in awe of Mr. Howard. God bless all who serve or have served in defense of this great nation.

Thank you Tara.

Unbelievable valor! It’s o hard to even read what our military o through in war. A Metal of Honor seems so insignificant in light of such a horrible situation. War is indeed hell! If it can be avoided it should be!

You just have to love a man like this! He gave and risked his own life multiple times … for someone else! And then after retiring, he spent the rest of his life giving what he could - himself - to help others! The humility and service exhibited are aptly recognized in the Medal of Honor.
