I’ve got to say that Rags looks like rags - so I see where he got his name ! But, he behaved as a good friend and hero. In addition to helping in many ways, I am certain he uplifted morale in a war-torn land far from home. Great human interest story.
The account of Rags the American War Hero dog is one of my favorites. He was a brave and loyal little pup. He must have given a lot of comfort to Private Donovan as well as other soldiers he helped. Of course Rags would grieve when Donovan passed away. Two true heroes. No wonder dogs are called man’s best friend. Excellent repeat, Tara.
All good dogs go to heaven passing over the Rainbow Bridge. A blessing to many was Rag’s mission in life and he served well and with honor. Rest in peace Rags for a life done well.
