It concerns me that our educational system does not teach more about these many heroes, who were just doing what they thought was right: standing up for their country. Bless them all.
Interestingly, Adams mentions Gates, a self promoter and hardly a source of inspiration. but fails to mention Daniel Morgan, who proved to be a giant among our Revolutionary compatriots and whose tactics & on field strategies sealed several major battle victories, including Saratoga. Thank you Tara once again for bringing light upon an important element of our history that may have been over shadowed.
A Great American at a time when our country in its infancy needed such a Hero.
