Wow. First I have heard of Neel Kearby. What amazing tactics and what a brave man. 23 confirmed kills is also amazing.

What sense of duty, skill and patriotism were possessed in men like Mr. Kearny. He definitely deserved his MOH. His last measure of duty became his undoing but I imagine that he wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

Thank God for men like Neel Kearby and the others of the Greatest Generation. Thank you Tara for another MOH Monday.

Neal Kearby was an exceptional pilot that was doing what he could. And he did it exceptionally well.

Incredible soldiers, marines, sailors, & airmen come to the fore when called by their nation to serve in her defense. Kearny was high on that list and we have much for which to be grateful in him. His service and life were so valuable to his country. Thank you, Ms. Ross, for bringing Neel Kearny to our attention.

Another American patriotic hero I have never heard about who did so much for his country. We are short on men with that kind of fortitude, but we appreciate the ones who in spite of everything are still willing to fight for freedom.

Thank you Neel Kearby. The Japanese pilots didn’t know what hit them until they knew who hit them!

Their training was amazing, but their desires to overcome the enemy was even greater than their training was. Courage under fire.....No doubt about it.
