While King was a well versed orator, as a minister of the Gospel off Jesus Christ, he was often influenced by the Spirit of God which dwelled within him to speak beyond what he had prepared to say. On this day it was certainly an influence from above which overcame him and he spoke from his heart to share that divinely inspired dream. After all, Scripture does say that it is god who gives the dream.

I really felt that speech was divinely inspired and we can use some come to Jesus moments right now. Especially with this election. Are we going to vote based on facts, abilities, platforms, the content of character? Or are going the way of identities, invented perceptions, vibes, propoganda and the neon gods sculpted by the media. We really do have to dig deep as a nation to excavate our better selves...where we throw aside misconceptions based on the outer persona to get to the heart and soul of who we actually are. I do feel Satin is at work seeking the ruin of the very soul of this nation. Certainly many have already sold their souls...caving to DEI practices, elevating things less than virtuous like abortion and gender affirming surgeries on children. But if freedom is to survive, we must choose virtue as in King's speech. Many of our founders recognized that virtue was a necessary ingredient in a free society. I pray this nation has a similar come to Jesus moment as King did while giving this speech. I do not want to think of the consequences if we do not.
