Though his actions took him from his body, he lives on with the rest of us for his effort and actions.

Not only devoted to his Country, the Marines and his Platoon, his personal integrity had him defend the Village he had become part of.

LCpl Keith had a mission to complete, keep his village and its people safe. At the risk of and finally, at the loss of his own life, he did succeed. He was a US Marine and he had taken an oath.

May God watch over this Marine and all who have put on the uniform. Thank you Tara for another MOH Monday.

Outstanding young man! He deserves the greatest respect. It’s so heartbreaking that he didn’t survive. His brave actions saved many lives. Vietnamese and Americans alike owe him all honor. Wonderful that the Expeditionary Sea Base was also named after him.
