Lots of ups and downs in Lyman Hall’s life as happens in every life. It was certainly an interesting life! Seems it was just by chance he ended up in Georgia. The locals must have liked Hall’s philosophy because they elected him to represent them in Congress. Then he ended up becoming governor of Georgia! Never heard of him until today. Thanks, Tara.

Dr. Lyman Hall. A determined man, for sure. It seems that he was determined to represent the insurrection against Britain with or without the blessing of Georgia. Eventually, he had the support of the state. I hadn't heard much about Lyman Hall before today. Thank you Tara.

It’s always interesting to learn about the Patriots who were signers of our Declaration of Independence. Thank you Tara Ross for your education that our school systems never taught us. ❤️

🇺🇲 Dr. Hall seems a bit like a microcosm of our Qar for Independence...

dangerous, winding and hilly, but got there in the end. 🇺🇸

Thanks, TR!

I'd love to know why Georgia hung back in the first place. I suspect an interesting story there.

Thank you, Tara, for another great story of what it took to gain freedom from the tyranny of English rule! Founder Hall knew what he had to do and persisted in doing what he could to gain freedom for the people of America!

Interesting tale! He (and his wife) were certainly one to stick to their convictions and overcome hardships that would have deterred others.
