Wow. SSGT Lucian Adams was the epitome of an American Hero during the daring and nearly suicidal mission in France for which his actions were awarded the MOH. The story is one that movies are made. Nearly unbelievable.
In his eyes, not unlike so many MOH honorees, he was just doing his job, one that required immediate action or everyone would be killed. A member of the Greatest Generation, Mr. Adams, you sir are an American Hero. God bless you, Lucian Adams and God bless all who have served or currently serve this great nation. Thank you Tara.
Another humble hero! The courage the Medal of Honor recipients exhibit always amazes me. SSgt. Lucian Adams act of heroism was accomplished because he wasn’t thinking of himself, but a job that needed to be done. What a great nickname…the Texas Tornado. Glad he survived. Thanks, Tara, for another fantastic Metal of Honor story.
I have to agree with everyone ! I never get tired of reading these accounts of bravery and heroism. SSGT Adams acted quickly and decisively, saving numerous lives and allowing others to be resupplied. I find it particularly fitting that he was awarded the Medal of Honor in Zeppelin Stadium, where Hitler, the evil, bigoted, cruel, despicable (I could go on !) man was once so proud. Thank you, Mr. Adams and thank you, Tara.
As with most MOH receivers, he was humble to a fault. Thank God for people like him. May God watch over all our Service men. (Yes that includes women too.)
I never get tired of these stories of bravery and humility!
Here, here!

God truly was watching over him, enabling him to abort the enemy's actions and return his fellow soldiers to safety.
Tornado fro Texas....Mr Adams got down to business. Thank you for your bravery and courage.
Thanks Tara! Another awesome story of heroism when duty called! ❤️
WOW! A great story of exceptional bravery!
🇺🇸 Not to disagree with a Medal of Honor winner, but you, Sgt. Adams, are a hero. R.I.P. 🇺🇲
He was a hero and a former Soldier. Thank you for the 10 minute tornado which saved many from death.
As with most MOH receivers, he was humble to a fault. Thank God for people like him. May God watch over all our Service men. (Yes that includes women too.)
