Timing is everything... Thankfully those vessels were not introduced until after the 7th fleet was well established in the Pacific. With technology who knows what type of weaponry is being prepared to be deployed today or in the future and how they will be deployed. Prayerfully we have some very smart forward thinking strategists at work for our defense.

Amazing story Tara. I marvel at your ability to find interesting facts that are largely unknown and relate them to your readers in a captivating manner. Thank you.

I also am reminded of technological advances that war necessitates. These Amazing submarines with their airplanes, German jet propulsion advances, US Atomic bombs and so much more. And, most of these advances are able to be utilized for good as well as evil.

Again, thank you Tara.

I had no idea about these submarines! Wow! How close we came to losing that war. I know the “bomb” threatens world security today, but it saved us in 1945. Thank you, Tara Ross.

Another very interesting store from WWII that I have never heard of and they still taught history when I was in High School. In fact my history teacher was a WWII vet and had great stores.
