This is only one of the most significant documentary of human history. Few will compare to it over the passage of time. While it is not God breathed as I view Holy Scripture, a very significant source for the document is found in the Scriptures. The Bestower of those certain “unalienable” rights points directly to our Creator and God.
I believe that the committee of 5 probably was a committee of 6. Providence was a guiding and protective force during the formation of the Declaration of Independence and of the Revolutionary War.
We owe our existence to the founders, including Providence and it is my fervent hope that Providence is still at hand to keep this great nation in existence.

There are not any surviving documents of the drafts that are discovered as best as I can recall. But my memory sometimes fails me.
