Corporal Hirosi Miyamura, another American Hero who was just doing his job, following a harrowing battle where he was injured and then taken prisoner by the North Korean forces. 2 years as a POW. He undoubtedly suffered immensely during his captivity. But, he was just doing his job. America is full of men and women who are heroes in their own rights and who were probably just doing their job when their actions said otherwise. God bless the American fighting people Thank you Tara.
Humble hero who also survived a prison camp. He stands above in all ways in my view.
Thanks Tara. Awesome week of stories.

I cannot imagine all he and his men endured. I'm glad he made it home!
What a hero! And what bravery and fortitude. Then to be taken prisoner. Thank you “Hershey”. Thank you doesn’t seem enough.
“…just doing my duty.”
Unbelievable character shown by Corporal Miyamura in that short statement. He certainly deserves our simple remembrance. May he rest in peace.
