Oops. This was yesterday's story. I didn't notice that the scheduling had gone awry until just now. My apologies! I guess you get a double dose today 🤦‍♀️

Washington was a great leader. He had such wisdom in how he communicated with different people. It’s amazing how he was able to encourage those who needed encouragement and clearly express the deep need of help that existed to others. We owe a great debt of gratitude to him. He was the right man for that time in our history. His faith and trust in God was of vital importance. We have strayed far from his example.

Washington was well aware of his army's situation at Valley Forge and knew the distinction between "Summer soldiers" and "Winter Soldiers." Unlike the former, the latter were truly orphans. Very wise man, that Washington.

I can only believe it was divine providence that Washington was in the position of head of the armed forces. What a heroic leader!

Thank you. This is a wonderful story, and it shows how difficult it can be to be a true Patriot! Times were hard and thank God GW didn't give up.

Optimism on one hand and pleading on the other. A diplomatic approach.

The full impact that GW had on Our victory over the British will never be fully known or appreciated if the woke educational system is not fixed.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

What different messages to his many audiences. Washington had an understanding of each and his message carried the appropriate sense of need and thanks.

His leadership alone was what kept his troops together through hardships we can't really understand and his previous results got money, goods and necessary military supplies flowing. To keep everything moving forward was a task that very few could accomplish.

George Washington, the father of our country can't be thanked enough. With the inspiration of God, he persevered as did his troops and our Nation.

May we have the strength to carry on. Thank you Tara.
