Wouldn't it have been enriching to have known these men, talked with them and to have been influenced by their perspective. Their well obviously ran deep and they drew from it when their men most needed it. Thank God for them.
May God bless and keep the four chaplains who perished aboard ship while calming and saving many soldiers who may also have perished in those freezing waters near Greenland. I especially loved the wish of the young chaplain who asked his father to pray for him to be adequate rather than to return safely. I believe and I know that God had prepared those four men to bravely die while saving so many. God must have had big plans for their after lives. Thank you Tara for another inspiring story.
