This is the history we need to be teaching young Americans. There's no need to sugar coat warfare, just teach about the necessity to protect your home, your family, your nation, when the need arises and good citizens are called to duty.
Elmer Gegeon was selfless as he gave up a safer life as a professional baseball hero for one as a patriotic hero, fighting for the continued freedom of his country. Lt. Gedeon was a man I didn't know about until now. Thank you Tara.
