Deep respect for the skills and patriotism of both Elizabeth and her husband. Great History! Thanks again, Tara, for bringing an important unknown to light once again! Cryptography…whew! What minds!

There's a great book about her called, The Woman Who Smashed Codes, by Jason Fagone. Couldn't put it down.

Thank you Tara. Because of your efforts, ordinary people such as myself are exposed to so many different heroes, important facts and stories that we would never be exposed to otherwise.

Stories such as today's figure, Elizabeth Friedman and her husband. Ms. Friedmans skills ìn cryptography exposed many notorious thugs, traitors and interesting characters. Again Tara, thank you.

Great story. Mrs. Friedman and her husband are amazing people to whom (along with their colleagues) we all owe a debt of gratitude (and deep appreciation). J. Edgar Hoover… nuf said.

What an amazing woman and her amazing mind! It’s good she finally gets credit for her accomplishments. Together Elizabeth and her husband used their minds for good.

See was remarkable, some people say even better than her husband. If you want to know more about the lady's who broke codes in WWII, I recommend "Code Breakers" by Liza Mundy. It's very interesting first person accounts.

She was a talented woman who married a man with the same love of puzzles as herself, and the ability to solve and crack codes. What a great team.
