What a beautiful post! Those ladies were exceptional for their service. The value of the encouragement and emotional support they rendered to those men is incalculable. The few accounts from some of the men who benefited from their presence are a testament to that. A little bit of normal in a chaotic and awful foreign war. This is another excellent post, Tara. It is new to me. Thanks to whoever suggested it.
