David Kingsley "spent many years standing in the gap" for his siblings". An apt description as to why he saved Sullivan's life, at the expense of his own. We can say that he was already conditioned to caring for others, yet he always had a choice, and he made this final choice to save another at the expense of his own. Let us remember him.
I pray and ask God that we continue to produce people like Lt. Kingsley. He had no fear to die when it came to helping others. We cannot let the sacrifice of men such Kingsley to have died in vain.
