Welcome back, Tara. Hope everything got repaired and not too costly. Love these MOH Mondays. Here’s another great soldier who gave his best for the country he loved. Humility again the outstanding quality of this hero. Dan Lee embodied all the attributes that every Medal of Honor recipient possesses.

What a story of bravery and heroism in action! It is unrelenting action like this that wins the day. Even in the loss, his work kept many others safe. Rest in peace, good sir.

Well, it's getting there..... probably going to take a couple of weeks, though. Ugh. Thanks for asking!

Daniel W. Lee Sr. Is the name and subject of this Monday's Medal of Honor post and, the details of the action responsible for his Medal seem eerily similar to many other Medal of Honor stories. He singlehandedly approached the enemy, under intense fire and although seriously wounded, he destroyed enemy positions and killed many of the enemy. His demeanor after receiving his MOH was to not discuss it unless specifically asked. Another humble hero who loved his country and who had a deep love for God.

Thank you Tara for remembering another American Hero. God bless Mr. Lee and all of the Greatest Generation. May God continue to bless all who serve or have served this great nation.

Thank you, Tara, for sharing another story of a humble hero - he was truly selfless as he fought on even though badly hurt. Even though the Germans won that battle and took prisoners that day, he fought hard and many of them did not live to hurt more of our guys. He was very brave and well deserved that MOH.

Another great story, it is true, you have to be very good health to go fight and die for our country.

As indicated by the Air Force’s denial of entry Daniel Lee Sr., being the incredible hero he was he was he continued his pursuit to fight for our country.

Thank you Tara
