Maintain the Constitutional Republic, the one our flag represents! The Constitution limits the government and gives us the responsibility of freedom. This can only be maintained by a loving action toward each other and a protection of personal space and freedom. God's great law of love is paramount and is the basis on which the Constitution was formed. Long live the Republic!

Encroachment of rights discussion take me back to something my mother fought. She felt the requirement to wear seatbelts was an attack on our rights (even though it was for safety). She always said if the government got a foothold, we would loose much more and if fact we have.

Complacently is our problem today. The America our Founding Fathers fought for no longer exists

So true, Bill! Covid showed them they are capable of scaring us into giving up our RIGHTS!!! We wasted so much time actually fighting with each other that we couldn't come together as a cohesive group to work together to get the actual truth about what was going on.

Absolutely. Silent Cal may not have been verbose but he was correct. We have become complacent and our freedoms have been stolen from us by our powers that be. Our government, our less than tolerant progressive left, Meta AI, seemingly every where I turn, I am limited in what I can say feel or do. I feel that we are no longer free.

Thank you Tara.

What Franklin said really rings true today, A Republic if you can keep it!

Thank you Tara for all you do.

Coolidge is high among my favorite presidents. Oh how I wish Tara's "lessons" could be required in every senior year high school curriculum!

President Coolidge was one of our greatest presidents. These are true words from a wise man. Little by little our freedom has eroded along with our God given rights. The last four years the loss of freedom has sped up exponentially. Our government is out of control and we the people are partly to blame. We have become complacent and leave too much in the hands of greedy and power hungry politicians. Hopefully the pain of the last several years has opened the eyes of the majority of Americans. Pray that we may be successful in taking our country back.

Imagine being mandated that the only vehicle you can buy is an electric vehicle manufactured by a company who must manufacture the car according to regulations established by the government. Control of your vehicle can be over ridden by signals sent by a government agency to reduce your speed, limiting your travel, disable your vehicle and other freedom limiting features. Freedom and progress is vulnerable through energy policy. The only reason it hasn’t gotten more extreme is because of the resistance it is receiving. But still government persists.

If you don’t protest, resist and reject small infringements on rights, you won’t have enough freedom to resist the larger ones. See Hitler and Stalin

Just FYI. Facebook removed my sharing of this post saying it was spam or I was trying to get likes. Hmmm. I asked for a review.

Silent Cal was the most conservative President of the 20th century! He truly believed in the constitution as written as a restraint on what the federal government could do, he vetoed many bills because he believed them unconstitutional. We could sure use another Calvin Coolidge type President, SCOTUS and members of congress today! Today we have "professional" legislators who buy votes with taxpayers money!!
