I first spent a long night at O'Hare in 1967 as a young Navy man enroute to a new school and I have probably flown via That airport 20 or more times since. I never knew how this airport got its name until now. Thank you Tara for another MOH Monday, honoring a man who obviously deserved to have an airport named after him. The O'Hare name has a definite meaning to the people of Chicago.
