Tyranny has masked itself as justice and the rule of law utilizing overstretched legal interpretations and outsized judgements to induce intimidation and oppression for those who would stand up to it. Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. Galatians 5:1

Great question Tara. Our Founders certainly would question why the citizens of the Greatest nation on earth would have forsaken the principles that existed when this nation was formed.

We have forsaken the unity of purpose that won our freedom and independence. We have become soft and we expect the government to take care of us in exchange for the freedom and independence our founders gave to us. We have abandoned God and now, we fight and bicker each other while the government becomes more dominant and controlling.

Depressing, isn't it? Thank you Tara.

Thanks Tara. Founders were crystal clear. “Resistance to Tyranny is Obedience to God”.

I think They would be flummoxed at the level of taxation we have allowed ourselves to be saddled with. I think they would be mad at the amount of freedoms we have relinquished! I think they would have loaded buck and ball long ago!

Great read and better question. I am of the belief they are ashamed of how we as a nation and individuals are turning out. The nation today is so far removed from the ideals and beliefs of our founding fathers they wouldn’t recognize the country.

Well 🤔, Resisting tyranny? No, we actually seem to be encouraging it.

Why we don’t seek divine assistance? I do, I'm guessing they would wonder too.

Would they be surprised that abandoning some of these principles has left us so angry and divided? NO. 😞

The Founding Fathers would be disappointed with our country today. 😔

Without a doubt.

I think our Founders could more easily believe we have sent humans into space, and even to the moon, before they could believe we have turned our back on divine leadership. Me, too.

I’m always highly suspect of those who claim “divine leadership”.

“The government that governs best governs least.” Attributed to, by various sources and similar but different wording, Thomas Jefferson, Henry David Thoreau, and, United States Magazine and Democratic Review, founded in 1837 by John O’Sullivan. 🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸

I absolutely love this . God is the glue. Faith, love, family, and remembering “ ALL men are created equal”.

It appears that the left is descending into pushing hate and rage, dividing us more all the time. And the attack on religion, particularly Christians is unprecedented.

. . . and I’m concerned these attacks will become more overt and more intense.

A big thanks to the Black Robed Regiment who turned the hearts of the people from pacifism to the God given right to be free! Need stories about these patriots! Joesph Warren was a true patriot!!!

I wish more leaders today who would stand upon the religious beliefs and statements of these early leaders.

Tyranny and the Will of The People is something we recognize within our own government. Imagine the colorist. Image standing up against the most powerful military at that time. Freedom is a Right handed down from above, not ny some elitist political hack. Thank you Tara for bringing this story to life.

The Founding Fathers would be shocked at the activities going on today.

It is God from whom all blessings flow. Only when we ask of Him all things that glorifies our God, then and only then will His blessings flow again.
