Wow. "Bazooka Charlie might also have been named Crazy Charlie." His feats of bazooka on the wings of his Piper Cub are crazy enough but landing, jumping on a tank, manning a 50 cal and yelling, let's go seem over the top. At any rate, Major Charles Carpenter was a brave man and driven to battle. No wonder that General Patton pardoned him. Thank you Tara for another WW2 story of bravery and unlikely ingenuity that I had never heard.

Maybe Angel Studios would do it. They make outstanding, patriotic and inspiring movies.

I'll check, back, to see if Larry or Tara see your studio suggestion. Otherwise, I'll forward your recommendation via DM. Great suggestion.

Here, here. What a GREAT idea, Larry. You should see about helping Tara Ross work that idea to Some Studio. This TDIH community would back that, I'm sure.

Bazooka bubble gum was named after the famous anti tank weapon developed by the army in WWII. Bazooka Charlie was an innovator!

Great story of a great warrior. Sometimes it isn’t the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog. Bazooka Charlie was a dog that was all fight whether fighting from his plane or from the ground. I would have loved to have known that man.
