The Patriots were able to force the panicking Loyalists into retreat. Most of the retreating Loyalists never joined up with the British army, as intended. It was an important victory for Americans.
It’s so interesting how the Patriots kept coming back from the jaws of certain defeat and pushed on. They were able to persevere and get the ultimate victory. Our history is intriguing in many ways.

Perseverance was certainly in the blood of the Patriots. Otherwise, I don't know how they would have eventually won the war. The battle of Kettle Creek was a good example of the determination of the American Patriots. Often outnumbered and with none of the technology we have today, they persevered and won the day. Thank you Tara for your continued education.
You just gotta love the pluck of the Southern Patriots as they took the battle to the British and Tories! They make for some of the most colorful history of the American Revolution!
