Thank you Tara. The victory at Cowpens was instrumental in our eventual victory over the British. The confusing tactics were either brilliant or lucky but they won the day. Those guerilla tactics were not traditional and probably greatly confused the British.

Once again, you've brought a little-known, yet strategic battle to the forefront and made us all the more educated about our history. Thank you, Tara!

I love the history of the patriots in South Carolina, Georgia, and North Carolina during the American Revolution. There were a fiery lot! And the Battle of Cowpens was a rich win that inspired the patriots and showed the British once again that the Americans were anything but inferior to the much better equipped British! Thank you for sharing this wonderful story, Tara Ross! It always brings a smile to my face!

It takes a master warrior whose strength is in his knowledge’s of not only the enemy, but also knowing the situation and how to fight successfully. Daniel Morgan certainly was a master warrior which made him an admired hero. Another new history lesson. We will have to check out Cowpens battle field the next time we visit that area.
