The Battles our nation’s Founders fought for Freedom from an oppressive despot are worth retelling over and over again! We must never forget the how important Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness was to our nation’s Founders!

Thank you Tara. The people of North Carolina had to have been very proud of their performance against the British. Nothing like victory to promote more victory.

Tara, I thank you for bringing forth parts of our rich American history which I had either forgotten or of which I had never been exposed. As for "the minions of Facebook", I think you will do quite nicely without them as will we all.

The Carolina's proved to be very hard on the British and bleed them of supplies and men. The British were always so well equipped and their equipment was desperately needed by Rebels. They harassed the British at every possibility. There was Civil War in South Carolina as well so there were more Tories who sided with the British. However, the Patriots would not give in and resisted continuously until the British left. Kings Mountain provided the impetus to solidify the Patriots of the South and the British were defeated soundly.
