Harold Taft was the original Texas TV meteorologist, in the DFW area. He was also the IT S Army weather consultant for the D Day landing.

The terrible cost of advancing was worth it. The Germans had held sway for multiple years and it wasn't until the American forces joined in that they were defeated. America did indeed win that war.

The pain and sacrifice of the French people, and their gratitude to the Allied forces during WW2. The Germans were not kind captors.

The tenacity and ingenuity of the American forces left no room for defeat. These warriors have a great legacy for other generations to look back on and learn from their examples. It shows what can be accomplished when there is the will to do it. Winning Wednesday, Tara!
