She was a reporter and a journalist that earned the respect of the people she encountered although some were no doubt tough nuts to crack. Great female journalists always seem to come with a fresh approach and deep perspectives.
I love the fact that she emphasized her credentials as a top notch reporter. Being a woman was not her only qualification. She opened doors for other women to follow by doing an outstanding job.
