A beautiful story of the American dream. It came true because of immigrants who assimilated into their new country, were willing to work hard and valued and appreciated all this country offered them. They weren’t looking back. They were looking to the future for themselves and following generations. It’s not surprising that another version was propagated and hid the truth for so long. It’s seems that the truth is often ignored even when people who know it try to set the record straight. Thanks for telling the whole story, Tara.

Our American heritage is so interesting. So many American experiences that have developed the character of our citizens. Such interesting stories!
