Good morning, everyone! I know you are expecting a "Medal of Honor Monday" story from me right now.... I am going to confess that I am completely wiped and barely keeping up. (It's not all bad. Mostly kids' summer sports.) I could pretend and post re-runs all week.... Or I can do what I'm going to do (😆): Post inspirational quotes from our founding generation all week, regroup, then get a head start on next week's stories.
Anyway, it seems to me that bravery is needed in the trying times our country is facing. Why not focus on what our ancestors did for us, and think about what we can do for our own generation?
Many thanks for understanding. Happy last week of July!
What bravery to put your name to a document that assured your disallegance to the crown. An instant death sentence if caught.
Our founding fathers were certain that they must form an independent nation, free from the British intolerance acts.
At the time of the Declaration of Independence, there was absolutely no assurance that freedom and independence from the Crown could or would be likely.
God bless the United States of America and may God continue to bless the people who have laid down their lives for our freedom.
Thank you Tara for this post.
We understand
Have a good rest of the summer, Tara, we’ll take whatever u have time for.
