It's worth noting that Adams and Jefferson died on the July 4th, just hours apart, Monroe also died on the 4th five years later.

3) Washington, Adams, Jefferson and Madison.

There were also 2 that died on the same day, on July 4th, 1826. Hint- both had a large role in the writing of the Declaration of Independence.
