Totally understand, Tara. So appreciate and enjoy your historical narratives. Also you have a life; I will patiently wait for your posts. Let us know when that kids book on the American Revolution comes into fruition so I can reserve copies for my grandkids, Thanks again for all you do
Tara, you are a breathe of fresh air for learning history. If you publish less frequently, that is OK by me. I respect your decision as much as i respect the research and publishing expertise you bring to my enjoyment. Thank you
I appreciate you and your publications very much and enjoy sharing them.
I agree that you should have weekends, holidays, and other personal days where you can step away from the glowing screen.
Weekends could be "Classic Posts" days, as could holidays -- unless you'd prepared a special article regarding a particular holiday on an anniversary date.
As to "repeats" or "over-repeats", not everyone sees your posts every day, and all of these stories do bear repeating. Maybe the repeat stories have a "CLASSIC POST" headline and new ones have "A NEW LOOK AT ..." headline.
Absolutely Tara. I have been worried about you for a long time, wondering if you have a life outside of your blog.
Please take care of yourself as we need you. 5 days of your valuable stories each week will be greatly appreciated. Thank you Tara for each of your posts. See you Monday!
I enjoy your columns and I've learned a lot. And I don't mind reruns at all - some of them I missed reading the first time, and even if I did read the column previously, they are always good to read again.
Re five days vs seven: five columns a week is still a lot of work!
Good for you for knowing what you need. I will miss reading you everyday with my morning coffee but I will survive. Now so will you. Everyone deserves down time Enjoy.
Tara, Your posts have meant a great deal to me since I first found you on social media. I was ecstatic when I left that and other platforms an kept finding you. At the time I thought I hope she has help as I know cross posting so many places is time consuming. You have reignited my love for history that I've even started reading books about history again. All if this said please take time for yourself and family. I would much rather read you 5 days a week than none. BTW, substack is my favorite place to find you!
Thank you. The cross posting is more exhausting than it sounds.... If I need to cut more, then my next step will be to cut a few platforms, but Substack definitely won't be cut. ;)
Glad you're exercising wise self-care, Tara. We can only do what we can do, and I'm thankful for what you share even if/when it's been shared before. <3
Good for you! There should always be a work/life balance. Family first. Re-runs or not, I appreciate your posts and look forward to them! Take some time off! We will be here waiting for you!
Tara, you are one WONDERFUL Lady who does her BEST to share important history with all who want to learn history!
I THANK YOU for for all you have shared with us!
I like your reruns as I learn more and more the second, third and more times around!
Take time to take care of yourself and your loved ones as they need you!
Looking forward to Monday!!

Love the often surprising and moving history.

Thanks Tara. You’re a great American. Thanks also for understanding your boundaries and doing what you need to do for you.
Tara,
Your history posts are wonderful. My youngest grandson (16) thinks your post are awesome.
I understand and support your “weekend off” decision.
If you ever decide to add a “subscription” fee, I would be first in line.
Thank you,
Oh, thank you. Honestly, it's something I am good at and something I can do for my country. I am good with it.

BTW, I never mind the reruns, it sinks in more the second time.
Honestly, I don't always remember the reruns sometimes! I remind myself when I repost. LOL.
LOL! Re-runs are HELPFUL for my memory that weakens with age!!
Take care of yourself and family first! Love all of your posts and the work you do to allow us to see them!
