Wisdom from Plato
Whatever gripes we have with our elected officials these days, we have only ourselves to blame.

We've let a whole generation of kids grow up without a proper understanding of our Constitution and our incredibly rich American heritage. We've elected too many people based on emotional appeal and attractive sound bites, when we should be digging deeper into their understanding of the Constitution and their intent to preserve and protect it. We've acted as if "We the People" can't be critical thinkers and as if government agencies are full of experts who must be blindly trusted and followed, when the reality is that "We the People" will always be better critical thinkers than those who are grasping for power. We've paid more attention to games our digital devices than to important policy decisions that are being made every day.
Plato would probably be surprised that we managed to last this long without imploding. What do you think?
Dear regular readers: Full-Fledged history stories return tomorrow!
Tara! This has to be one of the best, if not the best posts from you ever. I don’t know whether to stand up and yell “YES!” or cry. I hope this reaches every American🇺🇸. May God bless you 💜
The breakdown of the family foundation has gone on a long time. This is a major factor in the decline of the the US. The home anchor has disintegrated bit by bit. If there is any hope of salvaging what is left of the country there needs to be a huge reset…most particularly of rebuilding strong family units with parents of good and conscientious characters. You always make us think, Tara. Hope you can get FB’s new system to work for you. It’s good you have multiple ways of sharing your great history posts.
