For those who are unfamiliar with Thomas Paine, he is the author of "Common Sense," an influential pamphlet published early in the American Revolution.

Paine was a word smith par excellence! His writing is point on and inspiring. His words so often follow the premise of truth being eternal. I wish he would have delved deeper into the eternal truth of Biblical principles. He made a remarkable contribution to the War for Independence.
