There is no official transcript of the speech. Instead, the transcript we have comes from Patrick Henry’s first biographer. He obtained contemporary accounts from those who'd been there.
The spirit of Patrick Henry lives today. There are many brave men and women standing up to tyranny on many fronts. I'm thankful that Patrick Henry has set the precedent and that we are still free to hear his voice for inspiration to this day.
