What a victory - what a ship! And, add a few repairs, here and there, and the very same ship still sails today! Thank you, Tara Ross, for this bit of American history.

It's a great ship! I toured her in Boston and was amazed at her size for that time, the quarters for the man and Captains quarters. Great story of a great ship and worth seeing if your in Boston.

Exciting account of the USS Constitution and her fantastic crew. She proved ,to be sturdy and reliable under attack. Old Ironsides was the perfect name for her. Our military prowess made a huge difference in the victories we achieved and still is a big factor today. Great post, Tara.,

Hip Hip Hooray for Old Iron Sides. The USS Constitution was a raving success and an absolute game changer for the War for Independence against the British Empire.

God how I am so thankful for all the People that established the United States of America. ❤️🇺🇸

What an incredible story to read this morning. Again, I am full of historical knowledge, compliments of Tara. That naval battle came to life as they opened fire. The ideal pass would be across the bow, where the guns could fire individually as they passed, sending their cannon balls down the cannon decks, or taking out the masts. What an epic battle and moral boost for America. Old Iron Sides won the day. Thank you Tara for sharing this account of our nations history.
