It's becoming a common thread with my responses this week. I pose a question.

How else except for Divine Intervention could 9,000 men cross the very angry East River under the cover of darkness or fog and avoid being seen or heard by the British who had constant watch against such a move?

With no other option, General George Washington ordered his men across the river to avoid capture and the loss of the war. Amazing and miraculous. Thank you Tara.

Freedom ain’t free!

These men earned their freedom and ours!

We must never forget the trials these men went through to gain independence from a tyrannical government!

Thank you, Tara, for this important story of what it took to gain their freedom and ours!
