Good quote. My late father-in-law was at Iwo Jima, not in the first wave. I don’t have a lot of regrets in life, but one of them is not having deeper, more detailed conversations with parents and in-laws about their history and experiences. I wish I knew more about my f-i-l Marine experience in particular. Thanks, Tara, and have a good spring break ! We are taking grandchildren to the go cart track today.

The Greatest Generation was just that, the greatest. For the most part, they didn't boast, they just got the job done. Hardships, they had them, dealt with them and survived stronger than ever. In my opinion, the Greatest Generation were all heroes and they lived with Valor. God bless the Greatest Generation and God bless all who serve to protect us. Thank you Tara.
