I don’t have a lot of regrets in life, but one of them is not having deeper, more detailed conversations with parents and in-laws about their history and experiences. The Greatest Generation was just that, the greatest. For the most part, they didn't boast, they just got the job done. Hardships, they had them, dealt with them and survived stronger than ever.
