(1) QUESTION: True or False? No President has ever served in the United States Marine Corps.

ANSWER: True. No Vice President has ever been a Marine, either. J.D. Vance will be the first.

(2) QUESTION: True or False? Only one President has served in the United States Air Force.

ANSWER: False, but it’s a little bit of a trick question. Ronald Reagan served in a predecessor to the Air Force (Army Air Forces).  George H.W. Bush was a pilot, but for the Navy, not the Air Force.  George W. Bush was a pilot for the Texas Air National Guard.

(3) QUESTION: True or False? Three of our Presidents graduated from West Point, Ulysses S. Grant, Harry S Truman, and Dwight D. Eisenhower.

ANSWER: False. Grant and Eisenhower attended West Point, but Harry S Truman didn’t get in because of his poor eyesight. (In fact, he ended up not completing college at all.)
