Answer: John F. Kennedy. The dog was the daughter of one of the USSR’s space dogs, and it was named Pushinka.
(2) QUESTION: Which President was gifted two giant pandas by China?
ANSWER: Richard Nixon. The gift came in the wake of his visit to China, and they were sent to the National Zoo.
(3) QUESTION: Which President was given tiger cubs by the Sultan of Oman?
ANSWER: Martin Van Buren. He wanted to keep them, but Congress made him donate the cubs to the zoo.
